CNC PRECISION MACHINIST

We’re looking to hire a full-time, experienced CNC Precision Machinist for our advanced Tool Room who has experience with CNC mills and lathes and who can complete the following duties:

Job Duties:

  • Program, set up, and operate tool room machinery including state of the art 5 axis mills, EDM machines, and multi-axis lathes.
  • Design and fabricate dies and tools, working from blueprints, sketches, and samples. 
  • Effectively communicate with manufacturing personnel and support staff (Engineering/Quality) 
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables 
  • Set up and adjust production machinery/tools 
  • Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance 
  • Maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments 
  • Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances 
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers) 
  • Compute dimensions and tolerances and measure and layout workpieces

Skills, Experience and Education Required:

  • General Machinist certification or equivalent experience 
  • 3+ years’ experience CNC machining and programming employing 2D and 3D tool paths
  • 3+ years’ experience working with 3,4, and 5 axis CNC machines
  • Experience using various CAM software (Hypermill, Master CAM, Solid Works, or Esprit)
  • Teamwork, positivity, dependability, and communication skills

 

Wage: $29.00 per hour

  • Weekend Premium: $1.10/hour
  • Night Premium: $0.90/hour
  • Weekend + Night Premium: $2.00/hour 

 

Hours:  12-hour continental, rotating shifts

  • Day Shift 7h00 to 19h00
  • Night Shift 19h00 to 7h00

CNC SET-UP TECHNICIAN

JOB LOCATION: BURK’S FALLS, ON, CANADA

The Position

We’re looking to hire full-time, experienced CNC Machinists for our Machine Shop who have positive attitudes and experience with high-speed transfer machines. Earn competitive wages plus shift premiums and benefits based on years of experience and skills.

  • Set up, operate and maintain a variety of high speed, specialty robotic loaded transfer machines
  • Read/interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and charts

INDUSTRIAL MILLWRIGHT

JOB LOCATION: BURK’S FALLS, ON, CANADA

The Position

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, we are looking to hire a full-time or part-time, experienced Industrial Millwright (433A) who has a positive outlook, safety first attitude and is team oriented. This position requires schedule flexibility including nights and weekends. Earn competitive wages plus shift premiums and benefits!

  • Install, align, take apart and move industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, such as motors, pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, furnaces, and generators according to layout plans using basic rigging techniques along with various equipment and tools
  • Adjust machinery, repair, fabricate or replace defective parts
  • Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery
  • Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and find irregularities and malfunctions; report and trouble shoot deviations and tolerance of non-conformities
  • Use manufacturing software to initiate and plan assigned work orders. Use of computerized system to track work orders and maintain preventative maintenance history
  • Work with various teams (your customers) to analyze and identify causes of equipment breakdowns
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment while abiding by occupational health and safety regulations
  • Read/interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and charts

Position Requirements

  • Valid trade certification or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge and ability to follow Health and Safety regulations, policies, and procedures with a proactive attitude towards health and safety
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Advanced trouble-shooting and problem solving skills
  • PLC experience / knowledge considered an asset

INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIAN

JOB LOCATION: BURK’S FALLS, ON, CANADA

The Position

We currently have an opening for a licensed Industrial Electrician (CoQ 422A). In this position the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems.
  • Maintain, repair, install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators and reactors.
  • Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fibre-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components
  • Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance
  • Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations
  • Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices including PLC’s
  • Following all company policies/procedures and OHSA legislative requirements to ensure safe operation of all duties.
