Environmental Protection: The Importance of ISO 14001 Certification
A cornerstone of our sustainability approach is our Environmental Management System, which has been ISO 14001 certified for over 15 years and is constantly updated and improved. This international certification states that our environmental management processes are designed to protect the environment and prevent pollution.
Recently, Brawo underwent a maintenance audit conducted by the certification body, which confirmed the effectiveness of our environmental management system. These periodic audits are essential to ensure that our systems remain aligned with changes in production processes and regulatory requirements, ensuring that our business activities continue to prioritize environmental protection.
Towards Better Energy Performance
Brawo has been ISO 14001 certificated for many years already, while a new development in our commitment to sustainability and environmental protection is the current pursuit of ISO 50001 certification for the Energy Management System.
To increase efficient energy consumption, we have started the process to obtain this important certification. The first two audits have recently been successfully completed, and we expect to reach this milestone in the coming months.
Moving from traditional to new energy sources is becoming a central topic for business strategies, therefore Brawo Spa is taking another step forward in this direction, ready to meet future challenges with sustainable and innovative solutions.

The final step in our journey is the annual sustainability report, which analyzes the economic, social, and environmental impacts – both positive and negative – of our business activities and outlines the path Brawo intends to take in the future.
This document provides a comprehensive review of Brawo’s activities, considering not only the internal perspective of the company but also the viewpoints of all those directly or indirectly impacted by our operations (customers, communities, etc.).
