Located in Burk’s Falls, ON, Canada, Brawo Lofthouse boasts a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility specializing in forging and machining non-ferrous metals. Offering a one-stop manufacturing solution, Lofthouse is vertically integrated; providing engineering expertise, on-site custom tool production, and advanced forging and machining capabilities to create components that are stronger, lighter, and superior quality than castings.

Lofthouse is focused on providing customers with high quality, high-volume, innovative solutions at a competitive industry price. The Burk’s Falls plant has 110,000 sq. ft of manufacturing space that houses both traditional CNC equipment and high-speed transfer machines. Lofthouse’s industry-leading technology includes 14 transfer machines, 8 CNC mills and lathes, and 4 auto-forge presses.

Lofthouse was acquired by Brawo S.p.A in 2008 and since then, has made significant investments into facility expansions, new equipment, and process improvements. The strong focus on investing in the newest technologies and processes has positioned Lofthouse as one of the most technologically advanced forging and machining companies in North America.

History

, BRAWO LOFTHOUSE

In 1957, tool designer George Lofthouse founded Lofthouse to provide customers with non-ferrous forgings of superior quality at competitive prices. The first facility was established in the Toronto, Ontario area.

By 1978, the original site was no longer large enough for his expanded facilities and Lofthouse launched a new 10,000 square foot operation in Burk’s Falls, Ontario, Canada.

The firm continued to grow in capacity and reputation, and in 1994 Lofthouse became the first non-ferrous forging company in North America to be ISO 9000 certified.

In 2008, Lofthouse was purchased by Italian-based Brawo S.p.A. In 2016 Lofthouse expanded its manufacturing space by 45,209 square feet to meet their growing production demands.
